Jenna is my older sister and the voice of reason I so desperately need. She is determined, detail-oriented, and the powerhouse behind family vacations. Jenna can make you the best espresso martini, is one of the best hosts, and got our whole family hooked on Golden Retrievers. Jenna is always so quick and willing to give me advice when asked, even though she knows it's in one ear and out the other. If you see her on the dance floor, conversation starters can include: How to craft the perfect charcuterie board, Excel spreadsheets, and hidden gems in Nashville.
Victoria Lehn - Bridesmaid
My life would simply end if I didn't have my personal assistant, Tori, in my life. Tori is my best friend and should be on payroll for how many things she so graciously does for me. She has quit jobs for me, scheduled my doctors appointments, and often returns my Amazon packages. We met at our serving job when we were teenagers and the rest is history. I mean...It's impossible to break a bond that formed over splitting a bottle of Pinot Grigio out of a Yeti while waitressing and getting yelled at for forgetting a table's side of fries. If you see her on the dance floor, conversation starters can include: The best Happy Hours around, what she would cook if she were a contestant on Chopped, and her hatred for ranch dressing.
Maura Clark - Bridesmaid
I am so lucky to be gaining Maura as a sister-in-law. She is always down for a good time and I couldn't have asked for a better friend to navigate life with alongside the Clark brothers. My favorite (or least favorite?) memory is when a hurricane cancelled our St. Lucia vacation and 6 of us ended up staying at a 2 person condo in Florida instead. She was the first one to pop open the champagne and turn a bad situation into a great family vacation. If you see her on the dance floor, conversation starters can include: The best walking shoes, where to buy the cutest outfits, and anything Taylor Swift.
Bryan Clark - Best Man
Bryan is my older brother and someone that I have always looked up to. Bryan is one of the smartest people I know and can contribute to almost any conversation. Bryan and I bond over our love for video games, specifically anything Nintendo related. I grew up watching him play video games and learned the do’s and dont’s of gaming. Although Bryan lives 7 hours away, he is someone I can always count on. It also helps that our dogs are good friends. If you see Bryan on the dance floor, conversation starters include: his favorite food; mushrooms, his dog; Leila, and his favorite story from our childhood.
Jared Clark - Best Man
Jared is my younger brother and one of my closest friends. He is by far the funniest person I have ever met and can easily have a room full of people roaring of laughter. We grew up playing sports together, many times ending in physical and verbal altercations. We have carried our love of sports into adulthood and bond daily over the triumphs and failures of Cleveland sports. I am truly lucky to have a brother that shares so many of the same interests. Perhaps the hardest thing to admit might be that Louie's (my golden retriever) favorite person is Jared. If you see Jared on the dance floor, some conversation starters include: The joke about the three legged dog, Breaking Bad, and anything Cleveland sports.
Andrew Weems - Groomsman
Drew is my future brother-in-law and reminds me of by younger brother, Jared. I can’t wait to spend the day with those two, I have a feeling that I won’t stop laughing. Even though Drew’s elite humor can be overlooked by his family, I always support him and his jokes. Drew has impeccable people skills and has the talent of having a conversation with anyone. He’s also an excellent uncle to Louie, as he is always stopping by to let him out or let him play when we are at work. If you see him on the dance floor, conversation starters include: His go to meal at Get Go, the best costume the dogs have worn, and how mowing the lawn is going.
Jeffrey & Lori Clark - Parents of the Groom
My parents have made me into the person I am today. I cannot thank them enough for the sacrifices they have made to allow me to live such an extraordinary life. They are supportive of everything I do and they make it known on a daily basis. My dad is the perfect example of a loving husband and father and I can’t wait to follow in his footsteps. My mom’s favorite book to read to us as children was “Love You Forever.” It’s fitting that she still lets me know this 28 years later. I can tell they are ecstatic to add Kaylee to the family and give her the same love I receive from them on a daily basis.
Dennis & Shelly Weems - Parents of the Bride
A parent’s job is never done - this holds true for my mom and dad. I can’t imagine what I would be like if I didn’t have them. Not only did they give me a great childhood where I was able to grow and learn things on my own, but they have remained just as important to me as I have navigated through adulthood. My dad has rescued me when I was stranded on the side of the road with no gas, has aided with an endless list of house projects, and is always willing to drop what he is doing to jump in his car and help me, no questions asked. My mom is the first person I call when I need an answer or advice, has showed me what hard work and dedication looks like, and was over in record time when I called her crying because I flooded our bathroom 2 weeks after moving in to our house. To say that my parents are my biggest supporters is an understatement.
